Watching this video may disturb you. With heart felt apology, thank you for watching my videos & for your understanding of my 10 years struggle with endless Grand Mal epileptic seizures. These Grand Mal seizures were recorded in Jan. 13,2007, in preparation for my brain surgery at Department of Neurology, Stanford University Hospital, Stanford, Ca. after having been treated for Epilepsy for over 10 years by many hospitals in the Silicon Valley of California and San Jose Valley Medical Center's greatest dedicated professional Neurosurgeons, Neurologists, Doctors and Nurses on this planet. Just last week the Police poured from every were & tried to arrest me, assuming I'm on illegal drugs, acting out weird, belligerent & resisting arrest when I just happened to have been stricken with another partial seizure. They ended up driving me to ER hospital after my friend told them I'm just having an episode of a seizure.
I'm determined to go on living, accepting this very harsh reality, for the options are not alternative. Thank you for your understanding & encouragement.

I have peti mal epilepsy and some mental health issues that come with left temporal lobe problems. I hope your brain surgery went well bro, your videos help people to undertand epilepsy and not be afraid. God Bless xx

You're braver than me. I've never had a seizure in my life, however I am one of the unfortunate to have experienced great, great fear. I doubt I'll ever have a seizure, but seeing this video just makes me wish I could do something to help those in your situation. I hope all is well for you now.

I have TLE seizures. the auras scary me more than the grandmal. I hate living a life to where i get these feelings of impending doom coming that signals im going to have a grandmal soon. It really does feel like ive died a few dozen times.

i don't take anti seizure meds for this stuff, but i take it for aggressive tendencies and it works pretty well. stops me from feeling the need to punch walls and stuff

ReneeNme, Before Epilepsy, I never cared to know anything about hospital, ER doctor, ICU operator, nurses, CNAs, ambulance driver and emergency technician. After each seizure, I learned the hard way that YOU ARE ALL UNSUNG EVERYDAY HEROES, working hard and saving lives, everyday. Life would be worthless with out heroes like you. Thank you for rooting for those who are succumbing to life's unfortunate and unpredictable miseries, saving their lives and mending their soul.

Cinder, You are right. Epilepsy is a very private, painful, embarrassing, humiliating and depilating persistent endless agony that I tried to deny and cover up for a decade. In the end, having failed to find answers, seeking help and support to overcome my misery, desperately wanting to confront my shame and demons and wanting to educate people like you, I decided to post my misery on the internet. But, why would you care?

Dear Chris, After years of trying hard to cover up my seizures and avoid admitting or succumbing to Epilepsy, I found it became impossible stop the seizures or to find help.
Angry and frustrated of being unable to deny and cover up or stop my humiliating seizures, there was no other choice but to face my demons. That how I got to meet great people like you who make my day.

Blokhead, Seconds before seizures strike in full force, some may have "aura" or some form of sensational feelings but for most part, seizures strike like lightening and most people don't have the time, control, energy, concentration nor the coordination to react in time to avoid getting hurt or save their lives, from getting killed by consequences caused by seizures. NOTE: Different people have different types of seizures and different experience.
