RE: dangerousecelt "basically gravity" Er... ok?? So we are stuck here on this planet, with wanna be smart arse folks like you, because the magnetic forces are acting on us? Whatever. Explain why we are not all being slowly sucked into the poles? - or shut up and stop misleading stupid people with your twaddle!

Hey 3Deity, if you took more notice of education maybe you would have the life skill of spelling. No one is spelled; no one or in the use of the pronoun; no-one, never none. None is none, please don't utter BBC again

instead of taking up hard drive space or bandwidth on their own servers, the post their videos on youtube. i didnt need to be walked through the video to become intrigued by it and want to read the article. i read the whole thing, i suggest you do the same this is cutting edge.

Why ? ... Because most people won't read an article unless they become interested. They only get interested after learning a bit of the science involved. So, if you at New Scientist wish to educate new people, teach. If you are "preaching to the choir" then your regular readers will understand.
