Shuaijiao is older, more traditional, more interesting, easier to learn, makes you a better fighter (it actually makes you a fighter, in fact), has sparring from the beginning, competitions, short forms that improve health, power, and fighting ability, equipment training, etc. It's really a good fighting system, which cannot be said for the effectively unproven long fist.
