We recommend you print these lesson sheets out, you will need them to accompany and get full benefit the video. These classes were filmed at the House of Ireland which is located in Balboa Park in San Diego. There are three Irish language classes taught each week - beginner, intermediate, and advanced, with a different teacher for each level.

That's great to know. I just organized all the videos in order and made it easier to link to the website with the study sheets to printout. Which level is your class at? Are they studying the intermediate or the beginner videos more? If you want, I'll film more beginner classes and put them on here.

The guy in the video is Dáthi his parents came from Ireland and he was born here. Tomás, who teaches the advance class is Dáthi's father. No there isn't much in the way of learning materials for Irish but I hope this series of videos will fill in the gaps.

My father is from a gealtacht in Co.Galway, I am from England and would love to be able to speak Irish fluently, just out of interest, where did you learn it? from your parents? I think it is wonderful that people are teaching this beautiful language, but there isn't much literature or cds on the market to help learn.
