A person's occupation (past or present) does not inherently make them truthful or deceptive. Listen to the man's words. If he's lying, point out the lie. If you can't, give the man a break. We've got to stop relying on soundbites, old stereotypes, and other people's opinions to form our votes. Get out there and research, if something sound fishy - find out more about it. If something sounds good find out more about it! Don't shut out information, process it.
