The outer skin was not structural, it was primarily for thermal protection and micrometeoroid protection. The small inner pressurised hull (crew compartment) was made of an extremely tough and strong aluminum plate. Great video! __________________________________________________

Answer to your question yesterday..no, i would not have build any kind of LM back in 60's/70's. Today i would build LM at space. Part by part. OK...you don't like the old LEM because it looks funny...right? But it would be OK to build them in space...right? BTW...the only reason the ISS is being built in space is because it is so big. Question: Is it easier to build things in space or in a factory on earth? FYI...the old Apollo, Mercury, Gemini, Soyuz, Mir all used aluminum plate. Of course it would be build here on ground, but all modules put together at space. Maybe i should consult NASA a bit about this matter. __________________________________________________

Why would all those engineers and scientists and technicians build the LM to look so funny? Hmmm? Have you looked at all the old LM design stuff on the net and in the NASA archives? That was big problem before and is still today. We will see, how they go to the moon for the first time. (i have looked design stuff yes) __________________________________________________

He was on the Larry King Live TV show a few nights ago and besides boring the piss out of everybody with his story of how the CSM and LM seperated from the main rocket , he is now claiming that the UFO they saw was only a panel from the Saturn V rocket !! Maybe he forgot that he made this documentary for nasa telling a different lie ? __________________________________________________
