But the difference between a suicide bomber and other soldiers is that suicide bombers intentionally lay down their lives, while an ordinary soldier typically attempts to live to fight another day. The other thing that gives modern suicide bombers a bad name is that they often target civilians. In WWII, Kamikaze pilots targeted military targets not civilian targets, so that was seen as more honorable. __________________________________________________

Any elite soldier is expected to lay down his life for the mission. The modern 'suicide bombers' are simply elite soldiers. __________________________________________________
